Â
A series of infrastructure and operational improvement projects undertaken on a small island within the St. Vincent & the Grenadines archipelago.
Â
The projects supported large-scale infrastructure, marina and utility developments, requiring responsibility across quarry operations, marine engineering, construction support and technical leadership.
Â
Project Highlights

Quarry Development
Recommissioned an ageing El-Jay cone crusher, Svedala screening plant and associated conveyor systems, restoring full production capability.
Recommissioned a Sullair drilling rig and compressor following extended periods out of service.
Reopened an abandoned quarry and developed a long-term quarry development and production strategy.
Managed drilling and controlled blasting operations.
Procured commercial explosives and blasting accessories from overseas suppliers, ensuring continuity of operations.
Delivered a reliable supply of crushed aggregates to multiple island construction projects.
Concrete Production
Installed, commissioned and operated an Erie Strayer concrete batching plant.
Maintained a consistent supply of quality concrete supporting ongoing civil and marine construction activities.
Water & Utilities
Installed and commissioned seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) plants providing potable water for both construction activities and island infrastructure
Managed utility systems supporting continuous project operations.
Marine Engineering
Successfully executed controlled blasting adjacent to an operational airport under strict environmental and safety controls.
Carried out controlled marine blasting within harbour entrances and navigation channels.
Performed marine drilling, blasting and dredging operations to achieve required design depths.
Installed Manta Ray anchoring systems for permanent vessel moorings.
Installed Aquadopp instrumentation for current and tidal monitoring.
Removed reinforced concrete and steel marine piles using thermic cutting, underwater engineering techniques and flotation systems.
